After agreeing to a deal with Blaise Matuidi, Juventus are reportedly not done spending.
They now focus their attention to Spain to look into potential targets André Gomes from Barcelona, Steven N’Zonzi from Sevilla and Ezequiel Garay from Valencia.
The reigning Italian giants have suffered some significant losses to their squad with the departures of defencemen Dani Alves and Leonardo Bonucci, and midfielders Mario Lemina and Tomás Rincón making their way out of Turin as well.
However, the Bianconeri have made some great signings bringing in a strong attacking duo in Douglas Costa and Federico Bernardeschi, and also securing Mattia De Sciglio to add youth to an aging backline.
One can look at Juve’s desire to reinforce their midfield with one, maybe two, more star players the caliber of N’Zonzi, who is 4/1 to sign for the Italian club, to oversee the defensive midfield position or a Gomes to place in the centre midfield alongside Claudio Marchisio.
With Juventus being one of the older sides in the Serie A, bringing in the Gomes (24) and N’Zonzi (28) could be an effort to bring in the new guard to La Vecchia Signora.
A move to Juventus would be an alluring move for any of these players, and with the transfer window close fast approaching it will be interesting to see if the Turin club can lure one, or more, of these players away from their current club.
